Overview
OWASP is the global standard for application security. It is a massive, global community of developers and security researchers who collaborate to figure out exactly how hackers are breaking into websites, and how to stop them.
Why It Matters
If you are learning how to code, or if your company builds software, OWASP is your Bible. They are most famous for the OWASP Top 10, a regularly updated report outlining security concerns for web application security, focusing on the 10 most critical risks (like Injection attacks and Broken Authentication).
