File Integrity Verifier
Did you download a software installer? Before you run it, generate its cryptographic hash to prove it hasn't been infected with malware.
Local File Hash Verifier
Verify the integrity of a downloaded file (like a software installer) by computing its SHA-256 hash. 100% Client-Side. Your file is NEVER uploaded to a server.
You can usually find this on the software developer's download page.

Why check a file's hash?
A cryptographic hash (like SHA-256) is a digital fingerprint for a file. If even a single byte of the file is changed (for example, if a hacker secretly injected a virus into it), the resulting hash will look completely different.
When downloading software (like a cryptocurrency wallet, a VPN, or an operating system), the official developer will often publish the expected SHA-256 hash on their website. By computing the hash of the file you actually downloaded and comparing it to the one on the official website, you mathematically guarantee the file is authentic.
100% Private & Secure
Unlike many online virus scanners, this tool never uploads your file to the internet. It uses the Web Crypto API built into modern browsers to read the file and do the complex math entirely on your local device. This makes it instantly fast and completely private.
